Credo che oggi la moda non possa avere altro destino se non quello di essere sostenibile — e che questo possa realizzarsi anche attraverso piccoli gesti e scelte personali.
Possiamo fare molto: scegliere il cotone biologico invece di quello convenzionale, privilegiare fibre naturali come lino, canapa, tencel o bambù. Dare nuova vita alle eccedenze di pregio provenienti dal mondo del lusso, oppure usare tessuti scoperti in viaggio, acquistati da piccole realtà artigianali.
Possiamo produrre collezioni ridotte, pezzi unici o su ordinazione, per evitare sprechi.
Possiamo modificare i capi per adattarli a chi li indossa, seguire la strada del refashion (una giacca può diventare una borsa?) o quella dello scambio — come negli swap party che organizziamo regolarmente.
Non ripuliremo il mondo, ma possiamo almeno smettere di riempirlo di abiti inutili.

What I believe is this: today, fashion has no future unless it’s sustainable — and that future can be built through small, thoughtful gestures and personal choices.
There’s so much we can do. We can choose organic cotton over conventional, favor natural fibers like linen, hemp, tencel, or bamboo. We can give new life to high-end surplus fabrics from the world of luxury, or use textiles discovered while traveling — purchased from small, artisanal makers.
We can create smaller collections, unique pieces, or made-to-order garments to avoid waste.
We can tailor pieces to fit the person who wears them, explore the path of refashioning (could a jacket become a bag?), or embrace the joy of exchange — like in the swap parties we host regularly.
We won’t clean up the entire world, but at least we can stop filling it with clothes no one needs.
